End of Year Show (July)

Our students and teachers prepare classwork which is showcased during our End of Year Show in one of the professional theatres/settings in the Southern Area. Show fees, and costumes fees apply.

Musical Theatre Project

DMT School hosts 1 full musical production each year. This productions casts adult performers as the lead roles, giving our students the opportunity to work with industries professionals and performers. This annual production gives our students the opportunity to work hard and showcase their skills in our audition process. Show fee applies.

Festival Project

Festivals are a great opportunity for dancers and singers to showcase their talents. Each piece will be judged by an adjudicator where students are placed and awarded medals if they place 1st, 2nd or 3rd.

Festivals can be a huge commitment and can take up free time on weekends with extra rehearsals and performances. Costume fees, rehearsal fees and entry fees may apply.

Students will be selected if they have a positive outlook and a hardworking attitude. They will need to demonstrate strong discipline, professionalism and skill sets in order to be entered into a competitive environment.

Taking part in festivals has a huge positive impact on young performers. It can encourage confidence in a performer, create team building, enables independence and most importantly is fun and enjoyable for all those involved.
